The next Duyen Dang Viet Nam (Charming Vietnam), one of the largest music shows in Vietnam, will take place in Buon Me Thuot city in the Central Province of Dak Lak on March 13-14.

The next Duyen Dang Viet Nam (Charming Vietnam), one of the largest music shows in Vietnam, will take place in Buon Me Thuot city in the Central Province of Dak Lak on March 13-14.

Artists who participated in the previous Charming Vietnam Gala in January 2011.

The 24th show will be part of the 3rd Buon Me Thuot Coffee Festival. This will be the first time Charming Vietnam coming to the Central Highlands.

The event will have the participation of famous singers, including overseas Vietnamese singer Huong Lan, senior singers Cam Van and Siu Black besides young singers as Kasim Hoang Vu, Nguyen Thao, Ha Anh Tuan, Pham Anh Khoa, Vietnam Idol 2010 Uyen Linh, Lan Nha, Phuong Anh, and singers of the Central Highlands - Ksor Duk, Y Jack and Y Jalin Ayun.

Fashion designer Minh Khoa will introduce two new collections named “Stream of Dream” and “Green Jungle” through the performances of the top Vietnamese models: Huong Giang, Diem Huong, Hoang Yen, Truong Thi May, Hoang My, Thai Ha, Lan Huong and Ngoc Thach.

The show will have three parts: Wild Central Highlands, Developed Central Highlands and the Mountains and Jungle of Central Highlands. Music and fashion will be combined to highlight the native culture of the region.

The show director – Duong Thao – said that the stage will be the most special feature of this program. The stages will be the harmony between the forest and waterfalls. There will have four small stage on mountain peaks and a big one on the ground.

“The Central Highland people think that they were born, grow up and die in the mountain and the jungle. We will build stages based on their philosophy,” said the director.

The show will take place at 7 pm, March 13-14 at the Trung Nguyen Coffee Village, Buon Me Thuot city, Dak Lak province. Ticket prices are from VND200,000 to VND2 million ($10-100).

The music gala is a fund raising event for two charities founded by Thanh Nien Newspaper – Talents of Vietnam and Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship Funds. So far, over 10,000 poor and talented students have received scholarships from the funds.
