VietNamNet Bridge – Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) football club has appointed a former footballer of the Thai national team, Dusit Chalermsan, as its new coach.

Before making this decision, HAGL negotiated with two Vietnamese coaches, Tran Van Phuc and Le Thuy Hai, but finally the post was given to Dusit.

Nguyen Van Vinh, Technical Director of HAGL, said Dusit meets both technical and moral standards of the club. Dusit played for HAGL as a player and then worked as coaching assistant.

It is said that Dusit is supported by the Thai and Vietnamese players as well as managers at HAGL.

Dusit will have two Vietnamese assistants, Huynh Vang Anh and Dong Xuan Lam.

Dusit is the third Thai coach at HAGL. He follows Chatchai Paholpat and Anant Amornkiat.
