National Chinese Chess Championship 2008 kicks off

| VietNamNet Bridge - The National Chinese Chess Championship 2008 opened on November 3 in central Da Nang city with the participation of 36 players, including 12 women.
The tournament has attracted the most excellent players from all provinces nationwide, which have developed the movement to play Chinese chess strongly. Participants compete in Swiss format with 9 rounds for men and 7 rounds for women. The event is an opportunity for competitors to get more experience, and also for the Vietnam Chess Federation to choose the most excellent players to attend upcoming regional and international competitions.
