VietNamNet Bridge – The Khanh Hoa football club has threatened to file a lawsuit against the Ninh Binh club for “robbing” its four footballers.

Khanh Hoa asked for Ninh Binh’s apology for having illegal approaches to its players, otherwise it will bring the case to the court. The club also said that it has collected sufficient evidence for Ninh Binh’s “robbery” of its four players.

Khanh Hoa club’s Chairman, Le Tien Anh, said he would ask for the Vietnam Football Federation’s (VFF) intervention.

He said Khanh Hoa has the original copies of contracts initialed between Ninh Binh club and Khanh Hoa’s players (Duc Hung, Trong Binh, Huu Chuong and Tan Dien). The Chairman said Ninh Binh directly negotiated with his players on July 31, though this club knew that these players’ contracts with Khanh Hoa were still effective. If Ninh Binh did this, it violated the rules of professional football.

It is said that Ninh Binh is willing to pay a bonus of VND 550 million (US $32,300) and a monthly salary of VND 20 million (US $1,170) for Duc Hung, VND 1.3 billion (US $76,500) and VND 30 million (US $1,760) for Trong Binh, VND 800 million (US $47,000), and VND 20 million (US $1,170) for Huu Chuong and Tan Dien each.

Last football season, Ninh Binh club faced such charges related to the transfer of half-back Nguyen Huu Thang from Binh Duong Club.
