VietNamNet Bridge – Tanimex won both the men’s and women’s beach volleyball championships at the National Beach Volleyball Tournament, which closed at Tan Binh Sports and Physical Training Centre in HCM City on Sunday.

Tanimex’s Cam Hong - Hong Loan (yellow-blue) won the women’s championship

In the women’s final match, the audience witnessed a tense battle between Tanimex and Hai Phong. In the first set, Hai Phong’s Truong Thi Yen and Nguyen Thi Mai defeated Tanimex’s Cam Hong-Hong Loan 22-20. In the second set, with the support of the crowd, Tanimex won 23-21. In the third and deciding set, Tanimex completed its comeback 15-11 to take the championship.

The men’s final match saw two pairings of Tanimex, Thanh Vinh-Trong Quoc and Cao Son-Minh Thien. The latter won 2-0 (21-16, 21-3).

The National Beach Volleyball Tournament finals saw the participation of 18 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams.
