Thailand won the friendly T&T Football Cup after drawing 2-2 with hosts Vietnam in Hanoi Sunday, following up on their 1-0 victory over the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on October 28.

The Vietnamese national football team hasn’t had a victory in their last nine matches, but Sunday’s match against Thailand at the My Dinh Stadium was their best performance in recent times.

Meanwhile, Vietnam’s U22 team bowed out of the Grand Royal Cup in Myanmar after suffering a 4-1 loss to Ulsan Hyundai of the Republic of Korea Sunday and a 3-0 defeat to Malaysia last Wednesday.
