VietNamNet Bridge – The four top football teams of Vietnam will play against four international rivals at the Binh Duong Television International Football Tournament or the Number One Cup.

Kesley, the Brazillian player of Binh Duong Club, was discovered at the Binh Duong Television International Football Tournament 2004.

The event will run from November 27 to December 7 at Go Dau Stadium in the southern province of Binh Duong.

Participating teams Binh Duong, Dong Tam, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Matsubara (Brazil), TOT (Thailand), New Radiant (Maldives) and a Korean student team (South Korea) will be divided into two groups.

The tournament will take place at the same time as the AFF Cup so Vietnamese teams will not have national players.

The event is considered a chance for local teams to practice ahead of the new football season and for local experts to look at new foreign players from Brazil.

Last year, Matsubara was the champion of the Binh Duong Television International Football Tournament 2007 after beating Dong Tam Long An in a five-round shootout.
