Truc walked the 10,000 meters in 52 minutes 07.93 seconds to break the 54 minutes 02.81 seconds record set by Le Thi Gai of Thanh Hoa Province in 2005.

Despite two more games in the final today, the Military team have successfully defended their title with 10 golds, three silvers and one bronze; followed by hosts Hanoi with six golds, six silvers, and 12 bronzes; and third placed Da Nang City with five golds, one silver and four bronzes.
