VietNamNet Bridge – The Vietnam Football Federation has announced it has completed the ticket distribution plan for the final match between Vietnam and Thailand on December 28.

VFF and VFD said they will initiate some improvements in selling tickets at agents in a bid to help football fans get easier access to tickets and prevent ticket traders from scalping tickets.

The VFF decided to nearly double the ticket price for this match, compared to the first leg semi-final match between Vietnam and Singapore, with four levels: VND300,000, VND200,000, VND150,000 and VND100,000.

The prices are equivalent to half of those for the Vietnam-Olympic Brazil friendly, but VFF expects to get big profit because the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) allows VFF to keep all ticket revenue while VFF wont’ have to pay the guest team like it did Olympic Brazil. Moreover, AFF will provide it with some $200,000 in organisational fees.

According to VFD, more than 30,000 tickets will be sold, including 5,000 tickets via the ale.com website, 50% will be sold through ticket agents and 35% will be sold to organisations. Tickets will be sold starting at 10am, December 24 at My Dinh National Stadium, before the first-leg final match in Thailand.

The aleale.com.vn website will begin providing tickets for the second-leg final match on December 24 (two tickets per one person). VFD received orders from organisations from December 22 to 24 but it will send tickets to organisational buyers on December 26.
