VietNamNet Bridge - Nguyen Tien Minh didn’t find his true rival in domestic tournaments after his easy 2-0 victory over Ha Anh in the men singles’ final at the National Excellent Badminton Rackets Tournament 2008, which concluded in Vinh Phuc on Sunday.

In the women’s singles, Hong Gam from Ho chi Minh City became the new champion after having defeated Phuong Nhi from Da Nang 2-0.

Phong-Tung from Hanoi, Sen-Trang from Bac Giang and Duc-Gam from Ho Chi Minh City topped in the men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles respectively.

The tournament which took place in Vinh Phuc from December 14-21 drew 54 leading players from 11 cities and provinces: Vinh Phuc, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Hanoi, Dong Nai, Da Nang, Bac Giang and Bac Ninh.
