Vietnamese clubs meet in BTV cup final

| Vietnamese football clubs Da Nang and host Binh Duong secured their final clash after beating the RoK students team and Matsubara respectively in the Binh Duong Television Station (BTV) Number One Cup semis on Friday. |
In the first semifinal, Molina of Da Nang put his team in the lead until Park Hee Sung scored an equalizer for the Republic of Korea students. Everyone expected a penalty shootout when Almeyda struck in the final minute to make it 2-1 for Da Nang. In the second semifinal match, host Binh Duong came from behind to beat Matsubara 2-1 to set up the final encounter against Da Nang to be played this evening. Reported by Quang Tuyen |
