VietNamNet Bridge - The chief coach of the national football squad on Thursday announced the list of 20 players who will go to Huangzhou (China) to play the second qualifier match of Asian Cup 2011 on January 21. Cong Vinh and four others were unlisted.

Striker Cong vinh (white) will not participate in the upcoming match against China.

Notably, the list has the names of three new members of the national squad, Ngoc Anh, Ngoc Duy and Cong Huy.

Meanwhile, the five footballers who are not named in the list are: Cong Vinh, Thanh Binh, Truong Giang, Thanh Giang, and goalkeeper Quang Huy.

Cong Vinh will be absent because he has to serve a suspension penalty after gaining a red card in the match against Lebanon. Thanh Giang is suffering sinusitis. Thanh Binh is busy with his wedding party at home. Quang Hai was Calisto’s third choice after goalkeepers Hong Son and Duc Cuong.

Calisto regretted to the case of Cong Vinh. “Vinh is experiencing his best days at the national squad,” he said.

The Vietnam Television (VTV) said it is negotiating with the Chinese Television (CCTV) to broadcast live the China-Vietnam match on January 21.

Related to the national team, the team received VND 8 billion ($470,588) of bonus for their victory at the AFF Cup 2008 on January 14, before the match against Lebanon. The bonus was divided into four levels, ranging from VND 100 million to VND 380 million per person.

According to the team’s spokesman Nguyen Lan Trung, the team is awaiting the last VND 1.2 billion of bonus from companies.
