The list includes V. Sport-Ho Chi Minh Public Security newspaper, Dat Lanh Real Estate Company, Maseco, Pham Gia Automobile Company (HCM City), Hoang Thu (Da Nang), Khanh Tan (Gia Lai), Sauna (Khanh Hoa), Thai Son Bac, Thai Son Nam and Vietcombank (Quang Ngai).

All 10 teams will be divided into two groups. Two leading teams will be selected from each group to enter the semifinal.

The winner will be granted VND25 million, the first and second runners-up will receive VND15 million and VND10 million, respectively. In addition, the organising board will grant VND2 million each in individual prizes for the most excellent footballer, the footballer to score most goals and the best goalkeeper.

The event will be an opportunity to choose the most excellent footballers for the national futsal team to compete in upcoming major tournaments in 2009, such as the qualifying rounds of Southeast Asian and Asian Futsal tournaments, the ASIAN Indoor Games 3 and the 25^th SEA Games.
