The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has recently confirmed 20 sports events with 219 sets of medal of the third Asian Indoor Games (AIG), due to be held in Vietnam from October 30 to November 8, 2009.

The 20 official sport events include:

3. Dancesports

4. Indoor Pentague

5. Women Defence (Women Sanshou, Women Boxing)

6. Shuttle Cock

7. Sepak Takraw

8. Kabaddi

9. Kurash

10. Electronic sports

11. Indoor Archery

12. Aerobic Gymnastics

13. Pencak Silat

14. Chess (Chess and Chinese Chess)

15. Futsal

16. 3 on 3 Basketball

17. Martial Arts (kickboxing, Muay and Vovinam),

18. Billiards (Billiards, Snookers)

19. Dragon and Lion Dance

20. Bowling.
