Striker Agostinho has been forced to leave Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) before his contract expires for picking a quarrel with Lee Nguyen, a new member.

Explaining the case, HAGL Chairman, Doan Nguyen Duc, said that during the second match of V-League (HAGL was defeated 0-1), Agostinho picked a quarrel with Lee Nguyen. During the match, this Brazilian didn’t pass to his teammates when he had the ball. After the match, Agostino was very rude to the coaching board and didn’t follow team rules.

After two losses to open V-League 2009, HAGL has made some changes. Chatchai has replaced Dusit on the coaching board alongside the forced departure of Agostinho.

Agostinho joined HAGL in 2007. This striker proved his talent with nine goals in a short time. However, his performance dropped in 2008.

Agostinho has gone, but Duc still has many stars, such as Lee Nguyen, Thanh Binh, Tang Tuan, Ceasr and Evado, who scored a goal for HAGL in the latest match against Dong Tam Long An on Sunday.
