The annual Saigon Cyclo Challenge will kick off its ninth competition on March 7 at the Taipei School, District 7. It aims to raise money for the Saigon Children’s Charity to educate economically disadvantaged children.

The Challenge is expected to bring the city together for a fun and challenging day, not only to promote the sporting spirit but also develop the spirit of sharing.

The Cyclo Challenge represents an excellent opportunity for participating companies to build team spirit and motivation, offer clients and staff a fun day out, demonstrate their commitment to social activities and promote their company’s image and reputation.

For the ninth year running, the Saigon Children’s Charity organizing committee has come up with some new ideas to make the event even bigger and better for spectators and racers alike.

For the first time, all participants will enjoy fun, exciting games and live music at the new Entertainment Zone.

Generous discounts on extra tickets for Gold and Silver sponsors, an exclusive VIP area, are available, as is great cooking, drink and free water plus children’s activities.

Entrance tickets are VND250,000 ($14) per adult and VND150,000 ($9) per child.

Every ticket can be redeemed for five free visits to all outlets of California Wow Experience, valued at VND1.5 million ($86).

Book tickets via the hotline: (+84) 91 371 6070.

The Cyclo Challenge Charity is considered to be the premier event in Ho Chi Minh City’s charity and sporting calendar. In the nine years since 2001, the Challenge has proved to be an enduring team building event, allowing members of HCMC’s local and international business community to join together in a day of fun and competition to raise money for disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

The Cyclo Challenge has also accomplished its mission to promote a unique Vietnamese cultural icon and major tourist attraction. Not forgetting the environmentally friendly, non-polluting use of cyclos.

Saigon Children’s Charity was founded in 1992 to help disadvantaged children in Vietnam to escape poverty by giving them an education and a fair start in life.

It has built schools, provided scholarships and targeted extra help and vocational training to those in need.
