Dutch team cyclist wins stage 4 in BTV race

Dutch team cyclist Schulz Timo Wednesday won the fourth stage of the 2009 Binh Duong Television Station Cup Cycling Race.
The Dutch clocked the 194km from Buon Ma Thuot Town in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak to the coastal town of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province in four hours 24 minutes and 49 seconds.

Local team Domesco Dong Thap’s riders, strong on climbing mountains, kept pace with Timo during most of the stage but Nguyen Van Tai and Mai Cong Hieu could only come in second and third.

Hall Brad of the Dutch team has taken the overall lead after four stages with 12 hours 43 minutes and two seconds, followed 43 seconds behind him by Domesco Dong Thap’s Tran Quoc Dung.

Dong Thap continues to lead in the team score with a total 38 hours, 12 minutes and 31 seconds, a minute and 12 seconds ahead of the Netherlands.

The fifth stage will begin in Nha Trang Town Thursday.
