Nguyen Thuy Dung has criticised some officials at the Hanoi Tennis Federation for complications related to her salary and expenditures for international competitions.

According to a contract between Thuy Dung and the federation, when she participates in tennis tournaments in Asia, 100% of her expenditures are covered. Dung and the federation pay 50% each for tournaments in Europe.

Thuy Dung said she did not receive full compensation for all the Asian tournaments in which she participated. Moreover, she said the federation paid for less than 50% of expenditures for other events.

In March 2009 the federation paid her 2008 salary, which had fees deducted.

This is the third case in which a sports talent has complained about poor treatment, after runner Truong Thanh Hang and Vu Thi Huong.
