Amateur teams (six-a-side) can sign up for the local tournament between March 25 and April 14. Thirty-two teams will compete in Hanoi between April 18-19; and an equal number will play in Ho Chi Minh City from April 25-26. The top four teams — two from Hanoi and two from Ho Chi Minh City — will advance to the semifinals and the final on May 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The winner will go to England, representing Vietnam at the 16-nation World Final at the “Theater of Dreams,” as Old Trafford is known. The other teams will be from Argentina, Bahrain, Belgium, Chile, England, India, Ireland, Malta, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, among other nations.

Budweiser Beer, the Vietnam Football Federation, Hanoi Football Federation, and Ho Chi Minh City Football Federation are organizing the local tournament.

The winners, comprising up to eight players and the manager, will receive round-trip airline tickets to England, hotel accommodation, access to Manchester United training facilities, tour of Old Trafford, and a chance to meet Manchester United legends.
