Vietnam-Japan friendly badminton tourney kicks off

| A friendly badminton tournament opened in Hanoi on March 28 to mark the 36th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.
Twelve Japanese players defeated Vietnamese rivals, with scores of 7-2 (male) and 6-3 (female) in six singles and three doubles matches. The tournament was co-organised by the Japanese Badminton Federation, the Japanese Primary Badminton Federation, the Vietnamese Badminton Federation and the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
