Hanoi top national canoeing clubs championship

| With 17 golds, 9 silvers and 4 bronzes, Hanoi team topped the National Canoeing Clubs Championship 2009, which concluded at West Lake in Hanoi yesterday.
Hai Phong team stood second with 4 golds and 2 silvers, followed by Thai Nguyen team with 4 golds and 2 bronzes. The National Canoeing Clubs Championship 2009, held from April 12-14, had drawn 110 athletes from 15 cities and provinces. Meanwhile, the National Rowing and Canoeing Championship is scheduled to take place in either Hanoi or Da Nang City from October 5-15. VietNamNet/ND
