“If there is no change, Le Huynh Duc will be the provisional coach of the Vietnamese national team in November when the Olympic squad is competing in the 25th SEA Games in Laos,” said the national team’s coach Henrique Calisto.

“After V-League closes in late August, the national and the Olympic squads will be convened for a long term. They will be gathered at the same time in HCM City. That will be a favorable time for young coaches like Huynh Duc, Quang Ha and Van Si to work with the national squad,” Calisto said.

He added: “I and the above coaches talked about the time that they can work with the two national teams and all of them agreed.”

If Le Huynh Duc, the current coach of Da Nang, becomes the provisional coach of the national squad this November, he will work with the national team to prepare for the last matches of the qualifier round of Asian Cup 2011, which will take place after the 25^th SEA Games.

Huynh Duc confirmed that Calisto invited him to manage the national squad while Calisto is busy with the Olympic team at this year’s SEA Games.
