National indoor football team meets in Ho Chi Minh City

| National futsal team (indoor football team) convened at the Ho Chi Minh City-based Thanh Long Sports Centre on April 15 to prepare for the Southeast Asian Futsal Championships, to be hosted by Vietnam on June 8-14.
The team will be coached by Thailand’s Piemkum Pattaya. In May, the team will fly to Thailand for training and play four friendly matches. At the tournament, the host will play in group B alongside the Philippines, Brunei and East Timor. They are expected to enter the semi-finals. VietNamNet/ND/VFF |
