Cyclist Cho Ho Sung from the Seoul team wins the second stage of the HCMC Television Cycling Cup 2009 Thursday

Cho Ho Sung of the Seoul team won the second stage of the HCMC Television Cycling Cup 2009 Thursday.

The Korean covered the 148 kilometers from Phan Thiet in Binh Thuan Province north to Phan Rang in Ninh Thuan in three hours, 25 minutes and seven seconds at an average speed of 43.292 kph.

His teammate Park Seon Ho came in second ahead of Le Van Duan of the Saigon 1 team in third.

Another member of the Seoul team, Yoo Ki Hong, who won the first stage from HCMC to Phan Thiet, won the yellow jersey with a total time of seven hours, 31 minutes and 49 seconds.

Seoul continues to top the teams table with a total of 22 hours, 37 minutes and 21 seconds, almost a minute less than Domesco Dong Thap in second place.

Today’s third stage of the 1,000- kilometer tour, which ends in HCMC on April 30, goes from Phan Rang to Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province.
