The Asean Football Federation (AFF) on April 20 selected Vietnam and Indonesia to co-host the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup.

The Asean Football Federation (AFF) on April 20 selected Vietnam and Indonesia to co-host the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup.

The tournament will be held in late 2010 with 8 participating teams, divided in two groups.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has not yet announced whether the tournament will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi or elsewhere in the country.

In 2004, Vietnam held the qualifying round for the event at Thong Nhat stadium in Ho Chi Minh City and My Dinh stadium in Hanoi.

The qualifying round of the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup is scheduled to take place in Laos and three teams from Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines will take part.
