After Nike, Yamaha and Huu Lien A Chau, Boss paint has become a sponsor for the men’s national football squad. Boss will pay VND2.1 billion ($117,000) to have its name on the team’s jerseys for one year.

Vietnam won the AFF Cup 2008 last December.

Winning the Southeast Asian Football Cup 2008, the Vietnamese national football team’s fame has enhanced greatly. Besides a $5 million, five-year contract with Nike, the team signed one-year sponsorship deals with Yamaha ($120,000) and Huu Lien A Chau ($55,600).

Before sponsoring the national squad, Boss paint was a sponsor of Binh Dinh at V-League 2008 and the Golden Ball 2008 awards.
