The first Vietnam Volleyball Super Cup 2009 will be held at Tran Quoc Toan Gymnasium in Nam Dinh from April 11-16, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation announced.

The event draws 8 teams including four men’s teams: Trang An Ninh Binh, The Cong, Hoang Long-Long An, Vietsovpetro and four women’s teams: Communication High Command - Trust Bank, VTV Binh Dien Long An, PV Vietsovpetro and PV Oil Thai Binh.

Vietnam Volleyball Super Cup offers the biggest prize money ever with VND 100 million for the champion, VND 70 million for the runner-up and VND 40 million and VND 20 million for the third and the fourth place respectively. Besides, there are seven individual prizes worth VND 2 million each. Moreover, each team will get VND 30 million from the sponsors.
