Binh Duong has advanced to the second round of the Asian Football Confederation Cup, the second-tier club competition in Asia, as leader of Group H after an easy 5-0 away win over Maldivian club Valencia Tuesday. | |||||||
| The V-League defending champs will next play Kedah of Malaysia, second-placed in Group G, on June 23. Binh Duong has a good chance of advancing to the third round because Kedah is historically weak, and are not bolstered by foreign players, as the Malaysian league is not employing foreign players this season.
