The kids from Hanoi won the last berth in the semifinals of the 2009 Football Tournament for Disadvantaged Children by beating Dong Thap Province 5-3 Friday.

The final of the tournament, which began on Wednesday, will take place tomorrow.

The team left standing at the end will receive VND20 million while the three runners-up will get VND15 million, VND10 million and VND5 million.

Following the tournament, the organizers will select a Vietnamese team for a friendly tour of Thailand in September.

The organizers are the police newspaper Cong An Thanh pho Ho Chi Minh, the sports paper The Thao Viet Nam and the southern regional branch of the Vietnam Data Communications Company.
