Ho Chi Minh City won the national men’s and women’s team tennis championships Sunday with victories over Binh Duong and Da Nang respectively.

Huy’s teammate Do Minh Quan, the nation’s top player, made short work of Bui Tri Nguyen 6-1, 6-3 to give HCMC a 2-0 victory.

In the women’s competition, Tran Thi Tam Hao of HCMC cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win over Do Dan Thi of Da Nang before Hao’s teammate Huynh Mai Huynh beat the central city’s number one, Phan Thi Thanh Binh, 6- 0, 6-1.
