| Second-placed Hoa Phat Hanoi is now four points adrift of Ninh Binh and three points clear of third-placed Binh Dinh, and is on track to being promoted to the top-flight V-League next season. Meanwhile, after being brushed aside in the Asian Football Confederation Cup qualifying round, the national cup holders continued their poor showing in the country with a loss to bottom-placed Quang Ngai.
