The athletes will compete in 5 sports including men’s football, volleyball, marathon, stick-pushing and archery.

To ensure a successful tournament, Ninh Thuan is speeding up the preparatory work for facilities, standard equipments catering for training work and competition. Beside, accommodation, transportation, security and healthcare issues are also paid good attention to.

The National Sport Competition for Minority People 2009 will be organised in two zones: Zone I, hosted by Yen Bai province from September 18-23, includes 31 cities and provinces from Thua Thien Hue city to the northern provinces; Zone II, hosted by Ninh Thuan province from July 21-27, includes 32 cities and provinces from Da Nang to the southern provinces.
