Thai women triumph at Tuan Chau beach volleyball

| Team Thailand 1 won the Tuan Chau International Beach Volleyball Tournament for Women after defeating its China 2 rival 2-0 at the final match in Ha Long city, on May 1.
The champions pocketed 2,500 USD in prize money, while the runners-up were awarded 1,800 USD. Team Thailand 2 came in third, receiving 1,500 USD. The 2-day tournament, which is part of the Hạ Long Tourism Festival, attracted 14 teams from China , Indonesia , Malaysia , Laos , Thailand , the Philippines , Kazakhstan and host Vietnam./ VietNamNet/VNA
