LookAtVietnam – Getting a red card in the 79th minute in the match against Binh Duong in Go Dau stadium on June 10, Dong Thap’s Timothy took off and threw his jersey into the face of referee Duong Van Hien. Timothy is facing severe punishment for this act.

Dong Thap’s coach Pham Cong Loc and manager Le Ngoc Chuc immediately rushed onto the field to calm Timothy down. However, the striker proceeded to take off his armband and throw it at the referee.

Timothy was pulled off the playing field to the crowd’s booing. When entering the zone for footballers, the striker made intimidating gestures at the crowd.

Timothy played very well in this match. However, he has a hot temper. In the 79th minute, he clashed with Binh Duong’s goalkeeper The Anh. Referee Duong Van Hien imposed a second yellow card on Timothy. In the first half, this striker got a yellow card after kicking the ball at an advertising billboard.

“Timothy is a good player but his actions are unacceptable. This player must serve heavy punishment and his club needs to educate him in proper playing culture,” said Binh Duong’s coach Mai Duc Chung.

At the end of the match, Timothy came out of the zone for players and threw a water bottle down in front of his teammates, who were very sad about their 3-4 loss.

Timothy is a “star” of Dong Thap. He scored eight goals for the team in the first stage of V-League 2009.
