Southeast Asian Taekwondo Championship opens in Vietnam

| Athletes from Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines will compete with Vietnamese martial artists for a total of 43 titles. Vietnam Taekwondo Federation Vice Chairman and General Secretary Truong Ngoc De said the competition, which ends next Monday, is an opportunity for athletes in the region to prepare for the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos in December and the 16th ASIAD in Chinaâs Guangdong Province next year.
