Thousands of people queued in the early morning at ticket stalls at Hai Phong’s Lach Tray Stadium, hoping to get a ticket.

The high demand for tickets pushed the ticket prices on the black market up by VND10,000 to VND20,000 per ticket.

The organisers tried to control sales so that each fan could only buy two tickets. However, traders still had many tickets to sell in the black market.

Denilson has had his second practice with Hai Phong but it is said he has yet to reach his top form, perhaps because the striker hasn’t yet adapted to the weather and time difference in Vietnam.
