Peter Schmeichel, a former famous goalkeeper of Manchester United, and teammates of his from the Danish squad that won the Euro 1992 championship like Brian Laudrup and Larsen, may come to Vietnam to play two friendly matches this October.

Last October, Danish Queen Margrethe II paid an official visit to Vietnam on the occasion of the 47^th year of Vietnam-Denmark relations. The Danish Ambassador to Vietnam suggested organising a trip by former Danish football stars to Vietnam.

Accordingly, the team of former Danish football stars would gather members of the Danish national squad which won Euro 1992. The most famous player is goalkeeper Schmeichel, besides brothers Michael Laudrup and Brian Laudrup and Larsen.

The team is scheduled to come to Hanoi on October 24 to play against a team of former Vietnamese stars, including Huynh Duc, Hong Son, Van Sy and Hoang Buu, in Hanoi and HCM City. The Danish footballs stars would also meet with some Vietnamese football clubs to exchange training experience.
