As many as 507 athletes from the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Vietnam National Squad together with 33 teams across the country will participate in the event.

The Ho Chi Minh team with the strongest force of more than 100 athletes sets the target of topping the tournament.

26 athletes of the Vietnam National Team will take part in the tournament with familiar faces such as Bui Thi Nhung, Truong Thanh Hang, Vu Thi Huong and Nguyen Dinh Cuong.

This is a good test for the National Squad in preparation for two important events this year: the 3rd Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam and the 25th Southeast Asian Games in Laos.
