LookAtVietnam – Viet Nam’s Dinh Thi Kim Loan won the women’s 46kg division at the Multi Asian Body-building and Fitness Championships in Pattaya on Saturday.

Loan, 20, from An Giang, took a crucial win over Fung Yin Ka of Hong Kong and Wilainporn Wanklang in the final round to retain her title.

In the men’s classical division, Nguyen Truong Giang also won when he showed his power against the host’s Pirat Panosri.

Vietnamese women bagged silvers through My Linh and Ton Hoang My Khanh in the 52kg and 49kg classes respectively.

In a fitness event, Do Thi Loan Trinh was third while earlier at the champs Le Hoai Thuong filled the same spot in the men’s 65kg junior section.

Viet Nam sent a 16-member team to Asia’s biggest body building competition.

At the Southeast Asian champs, which opened on Saturday and run in tandem with the multi Asian competition, Pham Van Mach defended his crown in the men’s 60kg category.

Nguyen Van Lam and Nguyen Hai Au were third in the men’s 65kg and 70kg classes, respectively.
