Vietnam’s number one striker Le Cong Vinh

Vietnam’s number one striker, Le Cong Vinh, signed a four-month contract with Portugal’s Super Liga club Leixoes on Monday.

Also on Monday, Leixoes told Vinh that his visa had been extended to June 30 next year.

Vietnam’s golden ball winner in 2004, 2006 and 2007 said his new team mates were very friendly and his living arrangements were comfortable.

He said he was feeling very proud to be playing for Leixoes and would try his best during his spell with the Portuguese club.
