LookAtVietnam – Hoang Anh Gia Lai will send the Vietnamese American halfback Lee Nguyen and Thai halfback Thonglao to the UK for a one-month drilling with Arsenal.

The two players will practice with the second team of Arsenal until mid-October. Hoang Anh Gia Lai will only have to pay for air tickets. Arsenal will cover other expenditures for the trip.

Sending its players to Arsenal is part of the cooperation agreement between Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Arsenal to develop the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Arsenal JMG Football Institute and advertise for the Hoang Anh Gia Lai team in Arsenal’s Emirates stadium.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s representative said that two months ago, Arsenal’s coach Arsene Wenger invited two players from Hoang Anh Gia Lai to practice at Arsenal. Lee Nguyen and Thong Lao were chosen for the trip.

Arsenal’s executive and commercial managers will come to Vietnam on September 4-5 to visit Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s headquarters, meet with Lee Nguyen and Thong Lao and discuss the development strategy between the two clubs with Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s chairman Doan Nguyen Duc.

After the drilling trip in the UK, Lee Nguyen and Thonglao will return to participate in a football tournament in Phuket, Thailand from October 25-30, which will have the presence of the Thai national squad, the Thai champion club, the champion club of Myanmar and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.
