The two halfbacks of Dong Tam Long An will go to Porto city for health check-ups. In their ten days in Portugal, Tai Em and Tuan Phong will see Cong Vinh in Matoshinhos city, where Vinh’s Leixoes club is based.

Tai Em hopes that the meeting will help relieve Cong Vinh’s homesickness.

The two halfbacks are also placing great hopes on this trip. Dong Tam Long An’s captain Tai Em was recommended for treatment with a good doctor in Lisbon. Because of this injury, he had to stop playing football in the 2009 football season.

Tai Em said that the injury appeared during the match against China in the qualifier round of the Asian Cup this January. It got steadily worse so he had to stop playing football early this year.

He has been to Singapore twice for treatment.
