Nghe An and Fourth Military Zone are leading Group B with five points each, followed by Thanh Hoa, Viettel and T&T Hanoi with four points apiece.

With only one point, Hanoi ACB has no chance of getting through.

The quarterfinals begin on September 17 and will be held at Go Dau Stadium, where hosts Binh Duong and defending champions Da Nang will compete against the six group winners.

Two of them are already decided: Khanh Hoa from Group D and Ho Chi Minh City from Group E.

After the final on September 27, the best players will be picked to represent Vietnam against Iran, China, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia in the U21 International Football Tournament next month.

It too will be held in Binh Duong and sponsored by Thanh Nien.
