Huge football transfer contracts signed

Hai Phong Cement was the first to take action. A few days after its last V-League match, the team began to re-consider its forces. The club ended its contracts with pillars like Van Thanh, Ngoc Thanh, Duc Thang, Khanh Hung and Nguyen Quyet to “hunt” new stars. It signed a new one-year contract with Leandro, a Brazilian player who has played for Hai Phong Cement for two football seasons. To get Leandro, Hai Phong Cement has to pay the monthly salary of $10,000, plus $150,000 in transfer fees. The team has also acquired halfback Aniekan, who played for Dong Thap in the 2009 football season. Hai Phong Cement has to pay Aniekan $8000 a month and transfer fees of $140,000 for a two-year contract. The club also has the upper hand in the acquisition of some players of Nam Dinh club, including goalkeeper Quang Huy, halfback Trong Loc, fullback Van Bien and halfback Duc Duong. It is estimated that Hai Phong Cement will have to pay at least 10 billion dong for these contracts. However, the club will have to pay much more because it plans to buy strikers Timothy and Lazaro of Dong Thap and the Military Zone 4 clubs. T&T Hanoi, another rich football club, is “hunting” halfback Huy Hoang and striker Van Quyen from Song Lam Nghe An. It is said that the value of these players is at least 10 billion dong because they are top stars of V-League. Vissai Ninh Binh is also preparing for its first trip in V-League next year. Its manager said that the team aims to enter the top three of V-League. To attain this goal, this club has signed two big contracts, one with Brazilian striker Antonio of Dong Tam Long An. According to Vissai Ninh Binh, Antonio will be naturalised in Vietnamese and play for the team until he says goodbye to football. To have Antonio, Ninh Binh will have to pay a $500,000 bonus and monthly salary of at least $10,000. Another star of Dong Tam Long An – Viet Thang – has also joined Vissai Ninh Binh at the cost of 6 billion dong and monthly pay of 30 million dong. Leandro, Antonio and Viet Thang are the first big contracts of V-League 2010. Experts say that many more huge contracts will be signed by Binh Duong, Hoang Anh Gia Lai and Hoa Phat Hanoi.
