National womenâs football coach Chen Yun Fat submitted a list of the 23 players he wants on his new team to the Vietnam Football Federation on Monday. | |||||||
| Compared with the list of 25 players who played exceptionally to beat Hong Kong and Kyrgyzstan in July to top Group C and win a berth in the 2010 Asian Cup, the new list does not include Nguyen Thi Mai Ngoc, Vu Thi Lanh, Bui Thi Phuong and Bui Thi Tuyet Mai. Mai had asked to withdraw. The Chinese tactician has added two players, Nguyen Thi Nguyet from Ha Nam and Nguyen Thi Hoa from Hanoi. The team will gather on September 16 in Hanoi and travel to the Tam Dao Mountain to train for 10 days before moving back to Hanoi for more training through October 10. The squad will compete in an international tournament in Quang Ninh October 16-23. They will then travel to Japan to train from November 1-8 before flying to Laos to compete in the 25th South East Asian Games on December 1. Reported by Lan Phuong | |||||||
