Hosts Binh Duong and Hai Phong Cement entered the semifinals of the Number One BTV Cup after posting contrasting victories on Tuesday.

The Slovakian club took the lead after 32 minutes but three second-half goals by strikers Anh Duc, Huynh Kesley and Elenildo De Jesus made it 3-1 before Petrzalka scored a consolation goal just seconds before full time.

In the other Group A match, Lifan was the dominant side, but failed to convert several clear chances.

Meanwhile, Hai Phong had a good opportunity three minutes after the break as a miss by Lifan’s Yu Yong Zhe allowed Duc Duong to head the ball into the back of the net.

Hai Phong now tops the group with seven points after a 1-0 win over Binh Duong on Sunday and a goalless draw with Petrzalka in the opener of the 10^th edition of the international tournament on Friday.

Binh Duong finished the group stage in second place with six points after a 2-1 victory over Lifan in the opener.

The tournament, which is sponsored by the maker of Number One beverages, opened on Friday (Nov. 20) and will end on Sunday (Nov. 29).
