LookAtVietnam – Hosts Vietnam took five more gold medals at the third Asian Indoor Games on Friday to retain second place behind China.

Nguyen Thi Bich wins a gold medel in the women’s 48kg wushu competition.

The country’s national shuttlecock teams earned golds in the three-man category, the men’s doubles and the women’s doubles.

The other two gold medals went to Nguyen Doan Minh Truong and Nguyen Hong Thi in the dance sport event and Nguyen Thi Bich in the women’s 48kg wushu competition.

Vietnam was on top of the medal table Tuesday before falling behind China on Wednesday.

China is now on top with 42 gold medals while Kazakhstan is third with 16 golds, South Korea fourth with 14 golds, Iran fifth with 13 golds and Thailand sixth with 10 golds.

The third Asian Indoor Games began on October 30 and will end November 8.
