Vietnam has bagged nine more gold medals, bringing their total number of golds to 39 and helping the country maintain its second place in the Asian Indoor Games (AIG) 3 on November 7.

Among the medals gained on November 11, the Wushu team contributed a gold after defeating Thailand and Srilanka.

Four gold medals were won in pencak silat by Huynh Thi Thu Hong in the women’s 65 kg category, Le Thi Hong Ngoan in the under 70 kg category, Nguyen Thanh Nguyen for the 85 kg category and Nguyen Ba Trinh in the men’s 60 kg.

In the shuttle cock event, Nguyen Anh Tuan and Trinh Thi Nga brought home two golds as they defeated competitors from Laos and China.

On the same day, the kick boxing team brought home two golds and Nguyen Thi Huyen from the Nantaque team snatched the 39th gold medal for Vietnam.
