| Vietnam beat Macau 3-0 on Wednesday in the final match of the qualifying round for the 2010 Asian U19 Championship in Bangkok. |
| However after South Korea defeated Thailand 2-1, Vietnam, Thailand and South Korea all ended up with 12 points. Thailand and South Korea have qualified on goal difference. The Vietnamese teenagers now have to wait but are very likely to earn a berth because the top two teams from each of the seven groups, along with the best third-placed teams will qualify for next yearâs finals.
