The Da Lat Palace Golf Club in Lam Dong province won the Best Course in Vietnam award for the second consecutive year after a vote organized by the Vietnam Golf magazine.

There are many criteria to evaluate golf courses: landscapes, services, design, challenging, skills and knowledge of caddies, etc.

Organisers said nearly 30,000 readers participated in the vote, which ran from June to October 2009. Ten judges from the Vietnam Golf Association and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism based their decision on readers’ comments.

There were also awards for the golf courses with the best landscape (King’s Island), the best service (Soc Son), the best challenge (SeaLinks) and the best design and the most environmentally friendly (Van Tri).
